Pastor Kolawole Akinbi (PKA) is an anointed servant of God, passionately called to bring the good news of Christ to the poor and to deliver the oppressed from spiritual bondage. Serving as the Assistant Zonal Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the Senior Pastor of The House of Resurrection (THORP), Pastor Kola’s ministry is deeply rooted in prayer and inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Born at Lagos Island Maternity Hospital, Kolawole’s early life unfolded in the vibrant city of Lagos, where his journey of faith began. His education took him from Moluka Nursery School to Akoka Primary School and St. Finbarr College, Akoka. He further pursued his passion for learning at Westminster College in Information Technology, and later at Bromley College, where he attained an NVQ 4 in Promoting Independence. His leadership acumen was honed through the Institute of Leadership and Management (City and Guilds), and his theological depth culminated in an Advanced Diploma in Theology from Middlesex University. From a young age, Kolawole displayed a heart for prayer, remembering clearly how he was drawn to intercede for others as a child. His defining moment came on September 8, 1988, when he gave his life to Christ—a commitment that set him on a path of faith-filled service.
In 2008, Kolawole made a life-altering decision to answer God’s call to full-time ministry, despite being at the height of his career, managing three successful businesses. What seemed “foolish” to many was, in fact, the start of a profound spiritual journey, one that has borne much fruit.
Kolawole’s ministry extends beyond the pulpit. He is the visionary behind numerous initiatives designed to uplift and empower God’s people. These include:

Pastor Florence Adetutu Akinbi, fondly called Tutu, is a gifted wordsmith who expresses herself through writing prose, poetry, and speaking on challenging and topical issues. Tutu’s dedication to these issues extends beyond the church into the wider world, where she advocates for clarity and openness.
Academically, Tutu holds a degree in English from Nigeria and has furthered her education with Post Graduate Diplomas in Law and Legal Practice from BPP Law School, London. Her career journey began as an Editor, followed by a successful transition into the banking sector, where she worked her way up to branch manager at the Commercial Bank of Africa. After relocating to the UK, she joined National Westminster Bank. Her professional path took another turn when she entered Children Social Care, where she has worked for the past 13 years as a Conference Secretary in the Quality Assurance department.
