Pastor Florence Adetutu Akinbi is an ardent wordsmith who finds her expression in writing prose and poetry and in speaking on topical and challenging issues. Tutu, as she likes to be called does not shy away from the hard topics and her passion is to see them discussed more openly and transparently for an effective and lasting solution, especially in the church then in the world at large.

Adetutu holds a first degree in English from Nigeria and Post Graduate Diplomas in Law and Legal Practice obtained from the BPP Law School, London England.

She currently works in Children Social Care Quality Assurance where she functions as a Conference Secretary. Adetutu’s work life includes working as an Editor initially, then moving on to the Banking  Sector. Due to her hard work and dedication, She rose to become a branch Manager in the then Commercial Bank of Africa before she relocated to the UK, where she joined the National Westminster Bank.

Adetutu has now been in Children Social Care for 13 years after a 4 year period in 2 Agencies of the Lord Chancellor’s Department as an Executive Officer. Tutu has been married to Kola Akinbi for 30 years now and they are blessed with 3 children.
